Kos Galtos - Failure to launch

Ever since Kos Galtos was made Manager of Commercial Development for ECT (Environmental Clean Technologies) the share price has dropped considerably.

On the 4th of June, 2007 the share price for ESI was 0.22 and was 0.030 on August 10th, 2010.

This means the share price was 13.63% of its' previous value.


Number of Sales of achieved since Kos Galtos was made Commercial Manager = 0

My acceptance of the position was subject to a number of conditions, primarily the appointment of a very experienced person to prepare and implement a plan for the company's successful commercialization

Appointment to CEO – A lot of questions need to be answered!!!

With great sales figures and positive effect on the share price it would seem logical to appoint Kos Galtos over someone with considerable industry pull and contacts after a comprehensive search???

Where was the position advertised?

What makes Kos Galtos qualified for the position?

What were the criteria for selection?

Who else was interviewed for the job?

I’m not sure what other businesses appoint a CEO without doing an extensive search and interview process?


Qualifications of a Leader

Are MBA’s and university degrees going out of fashion? Check out the qualifications of Kos Galtos:

Associate Dip. Bus (Mktg)
Post Grad. Cert. Project Dev.

It would be interesting to see how many other executives have these levels of qualifications and what sort of positions on Seek Executive etc. advertise without including a Masters or Bachelors level degree as being necessary.


Prima Nova Limited – Multiple Roles

For a company involved in marketing and e-business why doesn’t it come up when it is searched for in Google?

Would be great to know how many sales if any it has achieved. Hopefully more then at ECT.

It is great that he has other interests just like Con Galtos who was listed as CEO of Grain Exchange and ECT at the same time. Raises interesting questions about commitment doesn’t it?
